• Hi – I recently installed a new Twitter Follow plugin that is causing problems.

    My site is http://www.mangetout2012.co.uk

When I try to login to my dashboard via /wp-admin I’m getting the following message:

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/rnatkiel/public_html/wp-content/plugins/twitter-follow-button-shortcode/FollowButton.php:165) in /home/rnatkiel/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 881

However there are lots of plugins called ‘FollowButton’, I can’t remember exactly which one I installed, and I want to get in touch with the developer to see if there is a fix.

How can I identify which plugin I am using so I can contact the right developer if I can’t login to my admin area?

    Thanks for any help

  • Go to wp-admin->Plugins and look. Most plugins have author information and such that will help you narrow things down.

Open /wp-content/plugins/twitter-follow-button-shortcode/FollowButton.php and look at the top ten lines or so.

I can’t actually login as something the plugin is doing is preventing me from logging in!

FTP into your site (or use whatever file management application your host provides) & delete the wp-content/plugins/twitter-follow-button-shortcode folder.

OK great that has worked – thanks 🙂
