How can I have the loop not count the new post formats towards the post count

    Hi, I’m adding post formats to my theme, works like a charm for quickly and neatly adding links and status messages. However, I do not want these to count towards my 5 posts per page.
    How can I modify the loop to display the 5 recent posts (as usual), but only count standard posts towards those 5?
