I'm trying to edit the color and menu style of my site.. it's gotta be in Editor right? But when I go into Editor I get this message at the bottom:

You need to make this file writable before you can save your changes. See the Codex for more information.

How/where do I make the files writable?

    See: http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions

Aside from that, are you using the Custom CSS section of that theme? Or a Child Theme? You should not modify any theme files directly - as your changes will be lost upon update of the theme.

Infinitely helpful! Guess that shows how green I am.. didn't even know about child themes.. Many thanks!
