   Here's what I'm trying to do with my custom built template.

   - Client wants CMS.
   - Client wants to add projects to the site they worked on. Each project has 2-3 images, a title and description.
   - I need the Post Page to show a small thumbnail of the main image and the title. The Single page will show all the photos and a description.
   - The Static Homepage needs to show 2 "Featured" or latest posts, but only a thumbnail and title.
   - Client needs to upload images through WordPress

   What do I do? This is my first time with WP and I'm trying to use it as a CMS. I've looked through countless plugins and can't find one I use for this specific project. I'm going insane here.

   you're going to have to use some custom development in your templates. I'm actually writing a book that includes how to's on this very thing.
