In Appearence > Edit CSS, you add the following css:
#access {
background: white;
}
That will make the menu bar background color white.

Boscoccy, does that theme come with a section in the dashboard named something similar to, “Custom CSS” or “Custom Styles”?
If not, download & install a Custom CSS plugin. Put the commend by Dbeja in the section of the dashboard allocated by the Custom CSS plugin.
You shouldn’t be editing the theme’s files.

@ dbeja , do you have a knowledge of using the WP Sliding Door theme? I’ve got a couple things going on that I need to tweak.
1. I need to change the font color of the reviews left by my clients, The font color is currently very light and can’t be seen clearly against my white background.
2. I need to get the black box back on the menu bar. It disappeared on me some how.

Thanks Andrew, I’ve started a new thread regarding the WP Customer Review issue, However I’m have the same issue as this with the menu bar. I’d like to change it back to black. How would I go about doing so.
