How can I change some button labels in the dashboard/admin area? (3 posts)

I am using WP as a repository of store locations and then using an RSS feed of the posts to display them on another site. It seems to be working well, after a lot of customizing of the rss file. Now, I would like the references to "Posts" in the dashboard to be changed to read "Stores". I looked at the language section but wasn't sure how to know which entries correspond to which labels, etc. Is there a relatively easy way to determine where to look (or if this is even the right place to look) for this? I wonder if there is a kind of plugin that lets you make targeted, individual changes to the admin panel language.

    Thanks!

Sounds like what you want is to create a custom post type.

wow, that might be exactly what I need. I just read http://kovshenin.com/archives/custom-post-types-in-wordpress-3-0/, and it sounds like this will make it easy to store the attributes of the stores separately, which would be nice -- name, address, phone, url.

Now, does anyone know how I can customize the RSS feed to show the individual fields with the surrounding HTML I want? :)
