    http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress

    or

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
    (note the second tutorial isn't quite for your situation, you gotta pick and choose steps.... its how I run my wordpress. leaves most files in /home directory to keep root directory clean, but still runs your site from domain.co.cc)

    you don't need to. a directory is a folder on your server.

    WordPress is already in a directory. A folder called /home
    1. Go to general settings tab in admin
    2. leave wordpress url as http://digital-mainstream.co.cc/home
    3. change blog url to http://digital-mainstream.co.cc/
    4. click save changes. (ignore the error msg you get now, and don't try to visit your site)
    5. copy index.php and .htaccess if you have one from /home to root (public_html or whatever your host calls it)
    6. Open your root directory's index.php file in a text editor
    7. Change the following and save the file. Change the line that says:
    require('./wp-blog-header.php');
    to the following, using your directory name for the WordPress core files:
    require('./home/wp-blog-header.php');
    8. Login to your admin panel at http://digital-mainstream.co.cc/home/wp-admin
    9. update your permalinks structure

    after following these steps, your blog will be at:
    http://digital-mainstream.co.cc/

    and your admin panel will be at:
    http://digital-mainstream.co.cc/home/wp-admin

    make sure you understand these steps before doing them. If it doesn't make sense, ask, or try using the moving wordpress instructions above

    first i have to change the url address in wordpress admin in general settings http://digital-mainstream.co.cc/home into http://digital-mainstream.co.cc/ without the subdirectory and then i have to copy all core files of wordpress to the root directory using ftp ??? is this right??

    If you are moving wordpress according to the moving instructions then yes, change BOTH addresses first, save, then move files.

    If you are doing the running WP from its own directory, then follow my instructions above to the letter. You only change ONE url.

    Both accomplish the same thing. Running website from root. My instructions just let you keep files out of your root directory, keeps things neat, but which you do is up to you and your preferences

    There are two ways to "move" WordPress - your choice is the hard more work way. Review the links RVoodoo gave you, the Codex is your friend.
