Hi,
I have been getting nasty nasty comments on my blog. I don't mind getting negative comments or different opinions, but his comments are very disturbing and threatening. Of course, I have been sending his comments to spam but he keeps sending comments from different e-mail addresses. Is there any way I can report or block his IP address?

If I remember correctly can't you have anything that has certain words flagged? I think the built in spam filter akisnet or whatever it is called works well for that. I did something like that before, added a bunch of nasty words and they all bypassed me seeing them plus the person had to keep putting in a CAPTCHA.
Blocking IP isn't exactly foolproof, as he may just get a new one.
Sorry to hear about the problem. Hopefully if you put your site to moderated comments full time for a month or perhaps more, maybe he/she will lose interest.
Is this a person you know in person? Or someone who is hassling you for no decent reason. You could look into online harassment laws, and threaten that if he/she continues, you'll inform the authorities. Harder to enforce obviously, if they reside in a different country.

I don't know this guy personally. He lives in Calgary, Canada, and I live in the US. He really write sickening things.

I don't know which service to use to block it if there is one. I have akisnet and it finds spam comments. However, because this guy keeps using different e-mail addresses, they keep coming.
Sigh... I keep ignoring him, though.
