• So I am looking to make a group discussion blog by hosting WP on my server, and I would like to have so that anyone is allowed to submit a post without having them to sign up for an account. I have my template and all the coding done, I just need to figure out a way in order to allow people to post without an account. Each post is then approved by me or a fellow admin before it arrives public (I do this with the GT Post Approval Plugin). But currently I can only get this all to work properly when someone is logged in.

Any ideas or plugins on how I can just have people submit news/stories without having them login?

I do apologize if this question has been previously asked, I attempted to search prior to posting this but did not find an answer to my question. If there is in fact a post regarding this I would appreciate it if you could kindly direct me to it. Thanks!

  • Hi,

I do not recommend to post without registration use for the blog becuase it wil lead to the spam posting..

However, you can create a form and ask the require details and on submit make an entry in the wp_posts database… and wordpress fetched posts from that database only..

    Thanks,

Yes, this thing is possible but requires a lot of coding. I suggest making comments on your posts..
