[resolved] How can I add the day of the week to my post date? (4 posts)

My posts give the date and year, but I'd like the day of the week (Monday, etc.) to appear before the date.

On the home page, the date appears at the top of the post.

On an individual post, I put the date after the post.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

In the Dashboard you can change the layout of the date.
    - Dashboard > Settings > General
    - Date Format > custom: [click the link for help] or
    try something like

    l, F j, Y

This creates a date that look like this:

    Friday, September 24, 2004

Thank you very much. It would seem like that would have worked, but it made no change. Perhaps my CSS is overriding it somehow. But I can't figure it out.

I guess it only needed to empty its cache.

    Looks great now!

    Thanks so much.
