How Autonav may display pictures uploaded by a given collaborator?

I want to know if it is possible to create an Autonav Gallery that displays all the pictures uploaded by a given collaborator in a web site.

I know there is an “Author” filter in Autonav, but this apparently filters “the pictures attached to the posts/pages published by a given author”, even if the pictures are not uploaded by the same person.

What I intend is to show a gallery of “the pictures uploaded by a given collaborator”, independently of which post/page they are posted in.

I have every uploaded picture in the website assigned to the proper author already, but couldn’t get Autonav to display the pictures of that author in a Gallery page (to show that person’s photographic work).
