    Hi,

Probably an easy one for those that know – is there a way of changing what text is displayed when you hover over a thumbnail in a gallery?

At the moment on my site, it is defaulting to the Title / Alt Text, which is always “OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA”…nice. I don’t do any pre-upload editing (Lightbox, etc), I just create a Gallery, upload the pics and then add a Description to the images in the gallery.

Instead, I’d like the Description to show when I hover over the images.

Is that possible to do so it takes effect for all Galleries currently there and ones I’ll be creating soon?

    Using Version 2.0.66.27.

    Thanks in advance!

@tonker – You may be able to create a custom template where the <img> “title” tag is using the $image->description rather than the $image-alttext value. This should work to display the description when hovering over the images.

Otherwise, there is no option to do this currently with NextGEN Gallery.

    Thanks!
