This plugin is really pretty good, but customizing and styling is not so easily rendered.
This event calendar seems to be the best one out there in the plugin world. What we are experiencing is a collision with the Hovered Event and the Calendar and all text collides and is unreadable. One thing that would correct this problem that I am having is a background color for the hovered event, but it is unclear to me where in the CSS that this would be set. One other fix for me would be to place the hovered events information below the calendar, then a background wouldn't be necessary.
Could someone steer me in the right direction?

There are some options in the admin page for the calendar that will let you set CSS for the current day and days with events. I am working on a new version which is a complete rewrite. Easier CSS customization is something that is being included in the new version.
