hover link issue in main content/body area (3 posts)

    I'm looking to make my main body/content hover links turn Red instead of color code #242222. I have this working for my menu links, but not my main content/body links. Here is an example page on my site (the words "architecture", "interior design", "lighting", and "urban design" currently have dark hover links that are barely visible when hovering - these are the ones I want to change).

    Using Firebug, I've discovered that the site is reading this hover as color code #242222 - should be an easy fix to swap this out with "red", right? The issue is I can't for the life of me figure out WHERE the site is reading this #242222 code from. Searching for "242222" did not turn up any results in my child theme or my main stylesheet, and I've also looked into all my other template PHP files to be thorough.

    It's been a long day, any clue what I'm overlooking? Thanks

    Look in the Style Settings -- which puts CSS code in the head of the page:

    <!-- Style settings -->
    <style type="text/css" media="all">
    html { font-size: 16px; }
    body { font-family: Arial, serif; }
    a, a:visited, #footer a:hover, .entry-title a:hover { color: #00a2fb; }
    a:hover, a:focus { color: #000; }
    a:link {color:#CCCCCC;} /* unvisited link */
    a:visited {color:#CCCCCC;} /* visited link */
    a:hover {color:#242222} /* mouse over link */
    </style>

    I just found the following in my custom CSS field:

    a:link {color:#CCCCCC;} /* unvisited link */
    a:visited {color:#CCCCCC;} /* visited link */
    a:hover {color:#242222} /* mouse over link */

    Haha! I don't even recall putting that in there (must have been weeks ago)... completely slipped my mind that this theme even uses a custom css field!
