    Hi,

Is there any easy way to control where the YARPP widget is displayed in the sidebar? I would like to be able to exclude the widget in specific pages or posts.
For example, the widget is now displayed in my homepage http://www.ottimizzazione-pc.it mentioning 3 pages such as "About me" which are useless to the user (they are not he pages I want them to surf to), so I would like to remove it form the homepage. Same for a few other pages in my website.
Perhaps is there any way to exclude the widget using the customized fields?
I tried adding categories to the page (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/associate-page-with-category?replies=4) and giving the page an ad-hoc category and then excluding it in the YARPP settings but that didn't work. My theme is Swift Free if this helps.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

I suggest you use a plugin like Widget Context, https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-context/, which lets you specify exactly where particular widgets should or shouldn't appear.

Hi mitcho, it seems an useful plugin but I try to minimize the plugins I use to reduce the page loading time so I would have prefer another solution. Thanks anyway for your reply!

It seems to me that Yarpp Hooks into one of the post Hooks and will display after the post contents.

Because of this i get styling errors because small posts, with images, display the Related posts in a funny way. But i have suggested a main DIV to Mitcho for that in another thread.

@marcomancosu I've used Widget Context on a number of production environments. It's a good option.

@uddhava I've replied separately. This thread is about the widget, not the automatic display in the_content.
