   I'm considering changing web hosts. What I'd really like to get is a TextDrive-like lifetime hosting deal from a dedicated WordPress fanatic, but I'd settle for hearing why you love your current host.
   Warnings about crooks and incompetents are welcome too.

   I highly recommend AffordableHOST, http://www.affordablehost.com. They've been webhosting continuously since 1997 -- old farts in the web hosting world!
   Minimal -- and I mean MINIMAL -- down time; warnings way in advance about upgrades, live chat, very responsive help desk system, and competitive pricing.
   Their companion site (AffordableDOTS, http://www.affordabledots.com) lets you easily purchse and manage domains.
