Hello,
I'm not sure if I am asking the correct/dumb question or not since I am a newbie to all of this, but if so, I apoligize.
I am trying to build a website through wordpress. So I downloaded filezilla and I am now trying to connect to "filezilla client" but its asking me for a "host", "username" and "password". I know my username & password but Im not sure who or what my host is or how I get it. Can anyone help?
Again, I apoligize if I am asking a dumb question.
Your need to ask your hosts for your FTP details.

I dont even have a host. As a matter of fact I thought wordpress.org was a host? Im looking for a free hosting service that supports wordpress so I can build me a website through wordpress.org.
I thought wordpress.org was a host?
wordpress.org distributes, supports and documents WordPress. It does not host any sites. I also wouldn't suggest that you try hosting WordPress on a free host. It rarely works properly. Perhaps you might want to look at signing up for a free wordpress.com site instead?

Ok. Does that work better?
It uses exactly the same WordPress software but you cannot install your own plugins or themes. See http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Ok so what will the host be?
Did you go to the link and read it? You won't need a separate host.
WordPress.com do not need a separate host however if you want to self host your WordPress, you might want to check this out http://codex.wordpress.org/New_To_WordPress_-_Where_to_Start
