I'm brand new to wordpress and don't have much techie know how. I bought hosting with one of the hosts listed here at wordpress that has "autoinstall" but now what do I do? Do I still download the .zip wordpress file? I saw the step by step guide for manually installing but is there one for how to proceed if I'm using a host that has autoinstall? I will be using bluehost.com. I feel like this might be a really stupid question but I'm new to all this and completely blank on how to get started. Help please??

It will be pretty easy and they may well have an faq for it - certainly someone else here will have hosted through them so worry not :)Once you get all your details things will become clearer I'm sure.

Posted 6 years ago #This thread is old so I'm sure the original author doesn't care anymore, but it was never really resolved so in case someone else gets it in a search here is my answer:
Don't download anything.
1)Go to your bluehost Cpanel.
2)Click on the fantastico button.
3)Click on wordpress.
4)Click on autoinstall.
