• Hi,
First, thanks for the Constructor Theme – your hard work is appreciated!

I do have a question on the nav-menu. I am using constructor 1.4.3 and the wordpress 3 custom navmenu. I would like the dropdown submenu to be horizontal and I’d like it to stay open when the parent and/or one of the child items is active.

I’ve been mucking around in the css and jquery but I’m just not the ninja I’d like to be. 😉

    Any assistance would be appreciated!

    Hi,
I have been trying to work it out on localhost so it is not accessible via the web. Do you have any plans to include a horizontal submenu in a future constructor release? Or maybe some advice on how to get it to work?

Essentially what I did was create a new div to hold the submenu using jquery and used css to style that new div to be horizontal under the top menu. I just can’t get the thing to stay visible when active. And it also needs to disappear when the user mouses over an ‘inactive’ menu item and then the moused over menu item’s submenu will show. That’s what I mean by ‘ninja’ 😉 I haven’t looked at this in like a week so I can’t remember exactly what I did…

    Thanks for your reply!
