Horizontal scroll bar appears after installing RSS icon

I replaced WP’s default RSS icon with one from Feedburner, putting it in a left sidebar widget. Immediately a horizontal scroll bar appears on every page and post even after I deleted the Feedburner icon. How do I get rid of the scroll bar?

Another problem is that on one of my pages, the entire text appears to be linked to nothing – changes colour when moused over, but 404 appears when I click on any part of the page. Have checked the text in both html and visual format and there is no link specified. Also deleted the page and re-posted, but same problem.
