    We have a custom slider on our home page. Since we updated to 3.2 when you click to another tab and click back to the tab with the home page on it after some amount of time, the slider "catches up" by very quickly playing all of the slider changes you would have seen had you stayed on the tab to see it. It does it in every browser and on every machine I have tried, including mobile devices.

    The site is morrisonheights.org. It's on the homepage, shouldn't be hard to miss.

    Here is all the code that I think has to do with the slider from functions.php:

    function the_gallery(){

    	query_posts(array(
    		'post_type' => POST_TYPE_SLIDE,
    		'post_status' => 'publish'
    	));

    	if (have_posts()){

    		?><div class="gallery"><?php

    			$_counter = 0;

    			?><div class="gallery-holder"><?php
    				?><ul><?php

    					while (have_posts()){

    						the_post();

    						?><li><?php

    							if (has_post_thumbnail()){ ?><div class="image"><?php the_post_thumbnail();?></div><?php }

    							?><div class="info"><?php
    								?><h2><?php the_title();?></h2><?php
    								?><div class="info-text"><?php the_excerpt();?></div><?php
    								?><?php
    							?></div><?php

    						?></li><?php

    						++$_counter;

    					}

    				?></ul><?php
    			?></div><?php

    			?><ul class="switcher"><?php

    				$_buffer = EMPTY_STRING;

    				do {

    					$_buffer = '<li><a href="#">'.$_counter.'</a></li>'.$_buffer;
    					--$_counter;

    				} while ($_counter);

    				echo $_buffer;

    			?></ul><?php

    		?></div><?php

    	}

    	wp_reset_query();
    }
