• Good day all,

    Since a few days my website, http://www.dutchreview.com , has been displaying a messed up homepage. The slider doesn’t load, several widgets are out of place and worse: the last article on display is from 2 weeks ago.

    Can anyone point me into the direction of a solution? The back-end is still function properly.

    Kind regards and thanks in advance!

  • Looks like you have a problem with W3Total Cache:

    <!-- Performance optimized by W3 Total Cache. Learn more: http://www.w3-edge.com/wordpress-plugins/

    Page Caching using disk: enhanced

     Served from: dutchreview.com @ 2013-05-15 19:28:52 by W3 Total Cache -->

    Check on the plugin’s page as to how to deactivate/clear and/or troubleshoot that.

    I thought I had that plugin, but couldn’t find it anymore. Anyways:

    It appears to be something with the cache (im quite a moron with these things I’d have to admit). And in the back-end it shows the following warning in red:

    Open Graph Warning : /sites/dutchreview.com/www/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-facebook/cache/ is not writable.

    So, quite a problem here, anyone can point me into the right direction for solving it? Many thanks!

    @wpyogi already pointed into the direction of ‘W3 Total Cache’ –

    it is possible that the plugin still causes problems even if you might have deleted the plugin.

    first step:
    please post in the plugins direct support section http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/w3-total-cache

    second step:
    if this does not provide a solution, contact your theme’s developer for support.

    Thanks the both of you! 🙂 Trying W3 now for support, so it’s w3 for sure? Not nextgen-facebook?
