   I am trying to update my homepage meta tags.

   how do i do this?

   edit header.php

   <meta name="description" content="..." />
   <meta name="keywords" content="..." />

   or use a seo plugin that could do this dynamically.

   i didn't realise i would have to manually place them into my header...none the less my problem is solved.
