    Website: http://www.writerwithablog.com/
    Theme: Douched 1.0 by FThemes.com
Problem: The logo won't update on the homepage, but is updated correctly on all other pages.
The old logo (the one stuck on the homepage) is a jpg that was uploaded via cpanel; the new logo is a png that was uploaded via the 'Apperance>Theme Options>General>Logo Image' option.

It sounds like you may have to upload the new logo via cPanel as well.

Ok, as soon as I posted this query the logo finally updated. Which brings up the question: How long does it take for changes to the homepage to update and why does it take so long?

Are you using any caching plugins? Did you remember to press CTRL and F5 simultaneously when viewing the updated page? Or try emptying your browser cache?

The plugins in use are: Akismet, Google Analytics for WordPress, Hello Dolly, and Plugin
And yes, I did use both Ctrl+F5, clearing the browser cache and temporary files, and opening the webpage in IE instead of Chrome and doing the same there.

Could be slow web cache at your hosts or ISP.

That's possible, but it seem's very odd to me that all the logo/headers on the site except the one on the homepage was updated almost instantly while the homepage logo took so long to update.

I forgot I had the WP Super Cache plugin active also. Could it have caused this behavior. In the description it claims to be fast.

Yes - it could. That's why I asked if you were using any caching plugins.
