    Hi!

I set up a static page (a landing page) as homepage, and posts in a /blog page.

The homepage is http://ivanferrero.it , the posts page was http://ivanferrero.it/blog , the right landing page permalink is http://ivanferrero.it/appenasvegliati

    Everything worked like a charm.

After many months I want to make my posts showing on the homepage.
I tried every setting availlable in the Reading menu, but it's always a mess: sometimes you see the landing page, sometimes you see the posts.
I also changed the theme, deleting the previous from the system.

I think it depends on which browser is used, or maybe it depends on the computer (maybe cache issue?): I don't know.

    Please help me! Thanks!

I searched in this forum and found it may be some plugin issue.

I completly removed some plugin with similar features, but nothing changed.

    I need help!

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Hi esmi

I thank you for your suggestions!

I tried all your suggestions...alas, nothing worked... :-(

If I could argue where the problem is, i'd know what to Google!

    Any suggestion?

How about trying with a new WP installation, importing only pages and posts?
What do you think about it?

Maybe a permalink issue? Try going into settings->permalinks and just save the settings you have. You don't have to change anything, just save it to cause a flush_rewrite. Maybe that might help...

Thank you wpismypuppet for your suggestion.

    Alas, it didn't work.

I tried to change static page, but the problem remains: where all previously worked, it changed static page.
Where it previously didn't work...there's still the http://ivanferrero.it/appenasvegliati page.

I don't know how to solve it... :-(
