I setup Multisite for one of my websites http://www.tylerfalwell.com and the 2nd URL for this was a subdomain of wcf.tylerfalwell.com. Everything seems to be working fine there...BUT on a non connected domain http://www.ceosmind.com is some how connecting to wcf.tylerfalwell.com once you click on a link on ceosmind.com

Please help. All of my backups are corrupted and I cannot seem to fix this issue. I've uninstalled WP several times. Completely deleted my SQL several times and nothing seems to shake my problem. Bluehost has restored everything back to normal EXCEPT the redirecting issue.

Anyhelp would be great guys...thanks so much...this is killing me

Okay. Did you, at any time, MAP that domain to your multisite?

I mapped my tylerfalwell.com domain...everything seemed to be working fine...I dont remember making any changes and then ceosmind.com was not working right...oddly enough seemed to do it on its own

What is quite possible though is that my auto login signed me into ceosmind and I was making adjustments thinking it was the other URL.

Even mapped, I just cant understand why when I make changes to my PHPadmin it wont save. It looks good the moment I click "go" but it will always revert back to the incorrect domain

    You mapped tylerfalwell.com to where?

One of these sites has to be your MASTER domain, where in you installed WordPress.

    I mapped wcf.tylerfalwell.com to tylerfalwell.com

I have 2 wordpresses installed though one on each.

That's why this is so confusing to me....I only have those 2 connected...never intended to have ceosmind.com get in the mix but obviously I failed at that because it's thinking wcf.tylerfalwell.com is the default

I setup Multisite for one of my websites http://www.tylerfalwell.com and the 2nd URL for this was a subdomain of wcf.tylerfalwell.com.

Here you're saying you've one Multisite install. What do you mean by the "2nd URL for this"? If this was a subdomain installation then wcf would be a subsite, not some sort of 2nd, equivalent, URL for the main site.

    I mapped wcf.tylerfalwell.com to tylerfalwell.com
I have 2 wordpresses installed though one on each.

Now you're saying you have 2 separate installations, yet you have mapped the name of one (wcf.tylerfalwell.com) to point to the other. That would effectively redirect any visitors trying to reach wcf.tylerfalwell.com to http://www.tylerfalwell.com.

If this is a subdomain installation, you don't need to map the subdomain manually for every subsite. That's what the wildcard DNS record is for.

    I mapped wcf.tylerfalwell.com to tylerfalwell.com

Don't do that. That's going to cause a recursive loop.

You can map wcf.tylerfalwell.com to wcf.ceosmind.com but double mapping a subdomain to root will blow things up, regardless of WordPress.
