I upgraded from b1 to b2 yesterday without encountering installation errors. Problem is, my home page is now, instead of displaying the list of recent posts, auto redirecting to a single post. So if you go to
http://www.aaronrosspowell.com
The browser (and I've tried this at home and at work) jumps straight to
http://www.aaronrosspowell.com/blog/greece-and-the-moral-failings-of-social-justice
I have WP-Super Cache installed, but I cleared the cache and that didn't fix it. I turned the cache off, again with the same result. I double checked that the default homepage is still set to list of recent posts and not a static page.
Any thoughts on what might have occurred?
What's in your .htaccess? I'd try renaming it to old.htaccess for a moment, see what happens.
Also, what other plugins are you using?

Renaming it to old.htaccess just broke the home page. It still tried to forward to http://www.aaronrosspowell.com/blog/greece-and-the-moral-failings-of-social-justice and returned a 404.
I'm running these plugins:
After The Deadline
Akismet
FD Feedburner Plugin
Google XML Sitemaps
HeadSpace2
Markdown for WordPress and bbPress
No Self Pings
Post-Plugin Library
Redirection

And, you know what? As I was typing that list, it occurred to me to deactivate the Redirection plugin. Which fixed it. So something with Redirection (which is a great plugin) breaks 3.0b2, but not 3.0b1.
Thanks for taking the time to help me out.
I also encountered this same exact problem. I also deactivated the redirection plugin, too bad for me, it didn't help. :(
