Hi,
i'm using wordpress as cms - homepage is set to page.
today i have updated my wordpress from 2.9 version to 3.0.1 and wrote an article.
now isnt my homepage set to the single page, but to this new article.
all settings aren't changed.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Try decativating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue.
