   Suddenly my website home page is redirecting to a page I just created. When I deleted the page, it redirects to the next closest post.

   http://www.westerngazette.ca
   --> redirects to --> http://www.westerngazette.ca/tip
   --> which now redirects to --> http://www.westerngazette.ca/2009/12/03/tipping-is-a-bonus-not-a-requirement/

   I haven't made any changes to plugins or anything. I just added the page and now the home page doesn't work. Please help!

   Note: I've republished "/tip" with a disclaimer. Any help would be great. This is a pretty grave and confusing problem.

   Anyone have an idea about this? It's terrible that you can't access the home page of your own site!

   Are you using a redirection plugin? If so, try disabling it.

   agreed. The redirection plugin was the culprit for me

   Shoot, should have known. Thanks! I was using Redirection to manage 301 and 404 errors. Turning it off fixed the problem. Thanks again.

   Hi,

   I posted a similar problem about my home page earlier in the forum.

   I followed the advice on this post to deactivate my redirection plugin and it fixed my issue.

   So it appears that some plugins (redirection plugins for sure) are wreaking a little havoc with the 3.0 upgrade.
