I deleted a post now my home page redirects to where that deleted post was located. If someone would please help me out it would be greatly appreciated.

Posted 3 years ago #yes my blog is set up as the home page but when you go there it redirects to a single post which is a post I deleted (was my first post). No I don't have any other post but I did put up more post to see if it would redirect to a newer post but it did not. I also tried to make a post with the same url that the redirect points to but that also didn't work.
I also tried to delete that category since that's part of the url but the check box for that category is missing.

That is strange. Can you give the URL to your blog so I can see for myself? If you prefer not to publish it here, you can send it to me through my site if you wish, although you would have to sign up to contact me through the forum since I disabled my contact form.
