    I went to add a link onto our homepage and once I added it turned the normally white background blue. In addition, it now doesn't show any of the pictures that used to be at the top of the page.

    I didn't change the coding on any of the original coding; I just added another line under the last paragraph.

    it is not totally clear to me what you have changed - maybe it was just one error too much ...

    generally, your site has several validation errors:

    start by fixing those errors.

    and possibly post in more detail where exactly you have added this link and what code you have used.

    Those errors used to be pictures that were at the top of the page. Can you tell what specifically caused those errors?
