   Hi is just launched my first WordPress site. I was trying stuff with a slideshow and the all of a sudden i couldn't remove it from the homepage.

   I thought to delete the home page and make a new one..
   now I cant name de page as it was http://www.marketingbalans.com/

   but only http://www.marketingbalans.com/home

   Any ideas how I can fix this?

   Hi tnx but they don't seem to know the anwser.. i guess it a bit more of a difficult problem... not that many people would be so stupid to permantly delete their homepage :-(

   any ideas?

   Ive also tried a new theme and then uploadced all the wp-files again. But still the same problem...

   I still cant get rid of the url extension. if i delete is permalink it just comes back..

   What do you have set as the front page under Settings -> Reading ?
