how to change blog coming up and going to simplepress forum page

    I cant figure out how to get simplepress forum to load with main site url instead of the blog page in dashboard/settings/general I tried to change the Site address (URL) to simplepress forum page but that did not work for me how else can I do it?

    I am assuming here if I do a redirect from blog to the forum and then when I want to go to the blog I will just get redirected again to the forum so I will end up in a loop so I cant get to the blog see my problem?
