Hi , this is my first topic in wordpress.org . I installed wp 2.9.2 for my new website http://www.Yektaweb.net . It's been about a week that i'm looking for a way to convert the plain text links to hyperlinks like the links in this post :

I want wp to automaticly change http://hotfile.com/dl/40831495/19b98a9/N360.v4.0.0.127.rar.html to <a href="http://hotfile.com/dl/40831495/19b98a9/N360.v4.0.0.127.rar.html">http://hotfile.com/dl/40831495/19b98a9/N360.v4.0.0.127.rar.html</a> . How can i do that ?

There's no way to do that in the core, but there might be plugin. Why not simply create the hyperlink manually either using the button in the Visual editor or using the button in the HTML editor?

Posted 2 years ago #Because there are a lot of links in each post and I just can't change them in each post . In some systems like datalife there are some ways to do this , but i don't know the core files of wp and I can't edit them
