Ho do I hide the Jetpack Subscriptions form after success message

I’ve got a restricted space that the Jetpack Subscriptions form is in.

Typically when someone enters their email, a success message appears above the form telling the user to check their email for a confirmation link.

How do I hide the form and initial invitation message upon successful subscription so that all that appears is the success message?

And if that is not possible, how do I redirect users to a thank-you page?
