Hittail not working – Will it work with WordPress sites?

    Hello All,

    I have been having fits with Hittail. I have it loaded on two sites, but it only works at times – probably 10 – 20% of the time. I am very anxious to get it working and Hittail seems very interested to help, but I have between both of us we can’t get it behaving properly. They claim that this has only happened with one or two other sites, but it happens with both of mine – 2 different themes.

    After two months Hittail said the problem is XHTML related, pointing to this article: http://javascript.about.com/library/blxhtml.htm

    Could someone help me get Hittail working on a WordPress blog?

    Was this set up via a plugin?

    Yes, initially I did but after it didn’t work I set it up in the footer as Hittail wanted. Were you able to get it working? If so, how did you do it?

    I’ve never used it. You’ll have ro ask them for help. If you used their plugin or follow their directions, then they’re your best resource.

    Yes, I was working with them with no results when they referred me to the XHTML issue in the post above, but I think it was just because they didn’t know what to do.

    Have anyone out there had success with Hittail on a WordPress site?

    I’d try it on a different theme (like Twenty Ten). Your theme may not be compliant.
