Hijack prevention

    Just got hijacked. took down the blog. What can I do to make sure it does not happen again? If this is a problem. What do you use instead of WordPress?

    The problem does not arise from my host provider (been with them 10 years never had a problem). I am the only one using this mac in my house. It is WordPress and their plugins.

    I am open to suggestions. Is there a program I can purchase or do I just try another program?

    Did you read the entire article? There are many suggestions there that have nothing to do with your host or your local computer. There’s also a list of other resources at the end of the article.

    BTW, just because you have not had a problem in the past is not a guarantee that you won’t now or in the future. That’s the nature of hacking and malware.
