Highlighting current date in calendar?

I am using the AJAX calendar on my blog, but I miss a simple feature: The highlighting of the current date. As I write this it is july 3rd, and yesterday was 2nd (of course!) But in the calendar july 2nd is heavily marked (dark color plus underline) that it looks like this is today. Which it isn’t. I have searched for a calendar plugin/widget that has this feature without being to complicated, but with no luck so far. Is it possible to hack the AJAX calendar to change this?
