Google AdSense Anti Click-Fraud Plugin
[resolved] High click count above the blocked Limit (8 posts)

I have this plugin set to block ips after 2 clicks, Today when looking at the stats it says someone had 8 clicks. I would like to know how this works. Shouldnt it block the ip at 2 and not make it possible for them to reach 8 clicks? If there ip is blocked what would they be clicking to reach this higher count ?

The only thing i have changed today that was different is that i have google adsense codes on Asynchronous instead of synchronous . I was wondering if maybe the plugin isnt working properly because of this change.

If you would like a link to my site i can email you it.

    Thanks for the help.

Please write me e mail with a link to your site. Please also create a sample image or text wrapped with div class=cfmonitor where i am allowed do click on the ads. To this timepoint its not tested with async ad code, so i have to test it.

    Hi,

Any reason/solution for this? I have the very same issue but, I don't use async ad code, but the 'old' one.

    Regards

    Thanks Esmi:)

About the topic: The problem is not the Async Code of the new AdSense code. Its more due to technical amnd historical reason of HTML and JS background there are still (rarely) cases where a user is able to click multiple times on your ads, even with the use of my plugin. We cannnot prevent 100% of them (Because of obvious reason i dont want to explain here how its possible). In the premium variant of this plugin i implement further functional checks which helps to reduce the clicks but they need a lot of server power and are only recommend if you have a dedicated webserver.

All in all, its better to use my free plugin and to reduce the malicious clicks as to not use the plugin at all.

    Cheers, rené
