Hiding specific pages (non wp_list_page)

Due to the fact that I am not using wp_list_page style for the site (www.westernreview.ca the pages appear on the top purple bar thing). I wonder how I will be able to hide any specific pages up there, so the only way to access that page is direct URL ? I would like to be able to hide one of the template page (contact) if possible.
