Hey. Could you post a link to your site? I can’t seem to install a left sidebar as part of the default Frontier settings. Unless I’m missing something?
What you want is possible using CSS media queries. Here’s a good intro into media queries: http://mobile.smashingmagazine.com/2010/07/19/how-to-use-css3-media-queries-to-create-a-mobile-version-of-your-website/.
To add CSS to your theme, in your dashboard area go to Appearance->Frontier Options and use the editor under the CSS tab.
If you can provide the link to your site then the volunteers on these forums can more specific help.
Hello,
Thanks for your reply Siobhan. My site is http://faktat.fi.
How i got both, left and right sidebar showing, was simply changing the main layout to use both sidebars on Frontier Options.
Like what Siobhan said, you could add something like this on the custom css option.
@media screen and (max-width:1279px){
#sidebar-right {display: none;}
}
Thanks, the code you gave worked 🙂
That code does not seem to work for me. My site is http://50.87.144.133/~subaq/category/production-articles/ (test site)
I added it and the sidebar still shows. I wonder if that is controlled somewhere else in my template. Any ideas?
