    Hi. I have a lot of Text widgets, doing basic things like displaying jpegs.

    I want to name these for organizational purposes, but I don't want that title to display on the blog.

    Is there a html code for hiding the title of a text widget?

    thanks!

    Sure, open your theme, plonk this at the bottom..

    .widget_text .widget_title { display:none }

    Hope that helps.. :)

    Thanks Mark. Before I implement this, will it hide the titles for ALL my widgets?

    I only want it to be hidden for the text widgets-- the others (like link lists) I still want to show titles for.

    Sweet! Pardon my ignorance- but where does this bit of code go? I put it in 404 Template but it didn't work. Does it go in a stylesheet? Or one of the php pages?

    thanks!

    Hi,

    The code is CSS so will need to go into your theme's stylesheet, the style.css file.

    Thanks! Added but still my text widget titles show. Maybe my template overrides this?

    Your widget titles use a slightly different class name, try this instead..

    .widget_text .widgettitle { display:none }

    :)
