We have a very old version of WP as you can see... I am trying to figure out how to hide pages so that they do not appear on my main menu. I did not see a pluggin that would work for our version.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Would making the page private work?

I do not see anything, since you did not provide a link to your site.
But you can either try this plugin, or manually edit your navigation and excluding the page IDs. Look for "wp_list_pages".

Making the page private would be great, unfortunately I am a beginner with WordPress and do not know how to make a page private. Documentation is not helping much. Any help would be appreciated!

The exclude pages plugin does not seem to apply to my older version.

when u write a new page - on the left by save, publish, etc., it gives you the option to make the page private - just check that box
