Hide edit links when cat is restricted

Restrict Categories plugin does not prevent from editing a post if user’s role is Editor or if she has the capability to edit other’s posts. Even though that post is in a category which is restricted from that user. It’s a feature, I guess.

I would like to find a way to show Edit links in the front end only if that user has the rights to edit that specific category. It would be nice to have that feature in the plugin but in the mean time: ideas anyone?
