    Hey, all.

I’ve been fiddling with my WordPress site, and I’ve run against a wall– or so it seems. I want to hide a category and all of its posts from my front page. I looked at the documentation, and this is apparently possible with a little bit of manipulation of the page’s source code. I’m generally code-illiterate when it comes to PHP, but I can copy-paste fairly well, so I took a look at my index.php.

Unfortunately, the theme I’m using (Freshy) does not have a Loop; or, at least, one that looks like anything in the documentation. I tried estimating where the Loop was, but no luck– my category remained there on the front page.

Could someone please help me figure out how to bring about this functionality in my site? Thank you!

I’m using the Freshy 1.0 theme, and running WordPress 2.0.5, just for the record.

    Again, thank you very much.
