There are some elements of this theme I would like to remove. I have created a mock up image I would gladly email someone to illustrate what I'd like to remove. While I do not know how to write programming language, I do know where to find all the code under "editor" and can sort of identify what lines create certain elements. If anyone is super familiar with this theme, I'd love some direction. Thanks much.

What do you wish to remove? If its simply color changes or some items in your css, you should try either firebug in Firefox or the google chrome built in development tools. They are the very easiest ways to identify and locate any css that your looking for. If your looking to remove things like grid areas, containers ect, you will need to know html fairly well. And for the wordpress php portions in your template, you can use Firebug in FF to find the container or div id or class that they are in and that's where you go look for it in your template files. Can you post up what you want removed specifically?
