[help]moving wordpress site with all content safley

i have been developing a offline WP site with XAMPP(a localhost site) to replace a current WP site that is live on a webhost.

and i don’t want to screw anything up when i will move the site(dont want to corrupt current website or the replacement website want both safe), cause i need all “text”/information on the site to move as well as the theme i developed for the site.

and i know there are documents for moving and backup. but as i said i don’t want to screw anything up and would like some more detailed guide or pointed in a better direction than i have right now.
