   Hello,

   I'm running a rather successful blog with over 5000 uniques every day, last night it was hacked. I'm currently competing in a contest and after getting spammed with nasty comments yesterday night from another contestant, I woke up this morning to find my blog down.

   I would need your help asap please!

   The Problem:
   When opening the blog / or admin panel it only redirects to my blogs adress/wp-admin/install.php

   What I did so far:
   - I have checked my DB and all tables seem to be still fine, in any case I run backups every 3 hours so that should be ok.

   - the .htaccess file looks fine as well

   I'm totally helpless, can someone please let me know what I need to fix to bring my blog back up?

   ok its fixed, someone damaged my wp_options table.. working again, but I would like to protect this against future hacks.

   How can I protect my wp_options table from hacking?

   Any body can please help?
