    Hi,
First post here and may very well be a long one. I am very new to the world of php language and db. I am currently using access 2010 to build a data base of a hockey teams all time players, with their stats etc. I have tables set up in access for player (name, position) stats (goals, assists, points and PIM) and finally Status (one column for active or alumni---text field---games played, season and amount of years played)

I will direct you to a site to give you an idea of the type of output Im looking for on my wordpress, which is currently installed locally.

Site Link This will take you to QMJHL website db on stats etc. (best if opened with firefox) Im looking for something very similar on my site.

I have wamp installed locally with sql and php installed.

Here is a link to what I have accomplished so far. I also put relationships on all three tables with id (auto number ) as PK.

Any help getting set up or to the next phase, direction, guidance would be more than appreciated.

Here is an article with a bit of code that shows how to use your own tables in WP:

The code that I referred to cannot be used as is. It is meant to be an example of how to do various things with your own tables when used in a template.

You will need to create one or more templates to enter, edit, and display your results. Here is a Codex article that is an introduction to template construction:
