    Hello all,

I am having a problem updating my FeedWordPress using the directions below (from failure of automatic upgrade), but the problem is, when I go into FileZilla, there is no /MagpieRss-upgrade/rss.php. I have the ..../public_html/wp-content/plugins/feedwordpress but no subdirectory.

Can anyone kindly advise how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance

FeedWordPress was unable to automatically upgrade your copy of MagpieRSS.

It's likely that you need to change the file permissions on /home/democralypsenow/public_html/wp-content/plugins/feedwordpress/MagpieRSS-upgrade/rss.php to allow FeedWordPress to overwrite it.

You could create that path and that file (an empty file will do) with the right permissions and see if that helps.

Are you sure the problem was not with unpacking the ZIP file?

    Hi,

Assign 766 recursive permissions to wp-content folder which should resolve the issue.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.
